First Day of School

The first day of the 2009-2010 school year has come and gone. Thank goodness. If this is any indication how the year is going to be, then I'm thinking I should quit now.

I arrived at school on time and ready to go. I unlocked the library and proceeded down to the cafeteria to help pass out schedules as instructed by the principal.

Afterward, I went to the office to ask a question. I was thrown into a situation with a student who was at the wrong campus. I guess he figured he could wake up and go to whatever school he wanted...he was wrong. The boss asked me to drive him across town to the proper school. I felt horrible! It was worse then dropping off my own child at school.

I came back to school and had my aides work on inventory. I cataloged books. I couldn't find my stamp and my labels wouldn't print right.

Morning Randomness

After having the book, The Last Olympian, for a week, I'm just now half way through. Life certainly does get in the way of my reading time. :)

Finals are over...it's not on to the waiting game for grades.


Yesterday was a quiet day in the library until 8th period study hall. There were probably 40-50 kids in the library. AR grades were due by 3. Gotta love kids waiting until the last minute.
